Hypnotherapy is a solution focused therapeutic practice that uses guided hypnosis to guide a client through a problem of the mind and body and navigate the way for a desired transformation.
Clients in a state of hypnosis are able to use their own mental power to overcome challenges and allow transformation leading to outcomes such as higher self-esteem, reduced anxiety, improved sleep, improved memory, positive habits.
While you are in hypnosis, the conscious mind is less active and the subconscious mind is able to freely explore and take in suggestions without the obstacles of the conscious mind. The client remains in control at all times and are guided by suggestions which you can choose to accept.
Hypnosis is not the same as sleep.
Hypnosis maybe be considered as a very deep state of relaxation.
Hypnosis can be described as a normal, natural, healthy state of mind.

Hypnosis is drug free and non-invasive. You remain in control and can stop a session at any time.

There is a myth that strong minded people can’t be hypnotised, in reality, strong minded people make wonderful candidates for hypnosis if they are truly committed to it working for them.
In the transition from being awake to falling asleep the mind naturally passes through the brain frequencies associated with hypnosis, so it is a naturally occurring event in most people’s daily lives.
How easy it is to be hypnotised does vary for different people as does the depth people reach within hypnosis. It’s another myth that results can only be achieved with deep hypnosis.

Brief therapy is a strategic, focused process that relies on assessment, client engagement, and rapid implementation of change strategies. Brief therapy can effect important changes in client behaviour within a relatively short period.
A therapeutic model is considered brief if it involves less than 20 sessions in a treatment plan.
Treatment plans are tailored for the individual client. It is common for brief therapy combining hypnotherapy to achieve significant results in 4 to 6 sessions.
